I love to develop my printmaking every time I print. I like to experiment with new ways of mark making and I work with a variety of printmaking processes. It is working in this way that gives me a broad resource of marks that I can use in my multi layered prints. This experimental approach can produce ‘happy accidents’, and the unexpected in my work. Line, simplicity of shape, texture, colour and small observed detail are all evident in my work. The usual subjects of my work are landscapes and natural forms.
I have a BA Hons (first class) in two dimensional design. I have worked as a freelance illustrator and as a visiting lecturer at The University of Hertfordshire. I have focussed on my printmaking in the last ten years and work from my home studio in Hertfordshire.
